of the Claradell's happiest moments were spent working at KRNT Radio and KRNT-TV
(CBS) in Des Moines, IA. I was known there as "Clari".
A fun assignment
was to read the Sunday Funnies on radio. |

had a 1962 VW Bug
and since 1972 has had a white VW Bug (in our garage today
and desired by every VW mechanic).
My first radio gig was as a dj at Friley
Hall, the largest mens' dorm in the U.S. (Iowa State/Ames). |
